Paul Rudolph’s Parking Lot in New Haven. the original is brilliant but its littered with slovenly redos, electrical lighting and so on. The strange testament to this building is the impossibility of photographing it in an iconic manner, as a whole. The details are amazing. Those were some serious cool form builders he worked with. The detail construction drawings must be amazing. Rhythm and pattern. Really high level.
